With an investment of more than €320 million, this new building represents a significant increase of the health complex capacity.
With 10 floors and a total area of 135,000 square meters, the building has more than 700 hospital rooms, more than 100 intensive care beds and 40 operating rooms.
In addition, large areas have been designed to develop a personalised and high-precision medicine, helping the diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases.
One of the most notable features of this project is the focus on sustainability and well-being.
With 5,000 square meters dedicated to green terraces and therapeutic gardens.
The building seeks not only to provide leading-edge medical care, but also to create an environment that helps with the recovery and well-being of patients.
Behind this impressive project is mercor tecresa®, which has supplied a variety of essential products in the field of fire protection, demonstrating its expertise in Passive Fire Protection for State of the Art Healthcare Projects.
In particular, 5,000 units of TECSEL® collars of different sizes, designed to ensure sectorization against fire.
mercor tecresa® also supplied the necessary material for EI120 and EI180 fire sealants where plumbing and electrical installations cross from one fire sector to another, thus ensuring the integrity of more than 1,000 square meters.
Other solutions offered by mercor tecresa® include the protection of the metal profiles of the elevators with TECWOOL® F fireproof mortar, as well as the installation of EI 180 fire-resistant ducts with TECBOR® boards.
